If you are made redundant by your employer, you should:
Register with Jobcentre Plus straight away to assess your eligibility for assistance. Even though you may not think you need immediate assistance, you may be eligible to receive some immediate support.
Take advantage of Jobcentre Plus Rapid Response Service’ which provides help for workers who have recently lost their job.
Take advantage of all the services your employer has offered to you as part of your redundancy including outplacement support and professional career advice. These can really help in getting your next job.

Our SSW is delivered in Black Country, Stoke/Staffordshire, and Swindon/Wiltshire.
SSW is targeted to small to medium-sized employers undergoing restructuring or business closure who have employees that are at risk of redundancy.
