The Restart Scheme

The Restart Scheme is a new government scheme that supports people who are out of work. Eligibility for the Restart Scheme is determined by Jobcentre Plus.

It is part of the Government’s wider ‘Plan for Jobs’ to help people who have lost their jobs because of COVID-19 to find work and get back on the road to recovery.

The Restart Scheme will provide up to 12 months support for each person.

The Restart Scheme helps break down employment barriers that could be holding people back from finding work. WISE Ability deliver the Restart Scheme in partnership with Seetec Pluss in the Dorset Local Enterprise Partnership area on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions.

We are here to support your journey back to work. We know that finding and keeping a job on your own can be challenging. Our job is to smooth the path.
